地政總署公布，荃灣馬角街工業地以7.258億元批出，中標財團為新意網集團(08008)，是出價最高的投標者。以可建樓面201,743方呎計算，每方呎樓面地價3,598元。
是次成交呎價創政府賣地歷來工業地呎價高，打破2015年2月由葵涌勝耀街、永基路與葵福路交界工業地保持的呎價紀錄，當時地皮由信興商業發展以呎價3,472元投得。
該幅馬角街工業地上周收到10份標書，入標財團包括信和置業(00083)及遠東發展(00035)等多家香港發展商為主。地皮前身為熟食小販市場，佔地21,237方呎，指定作一般工業用途、支援工業運作之辦公室、資訊科技及通訊工業等，但不包括貨倉用途。
新意網於2013年以4.28億元投得將軍澳高端數據中心用地，每方呎樓面地價904元，當時較市場預期下限還大幅低約兩成四。
